Wittenberg - A comedy play by New Renaissance Theatre Co

Hilarity, thy name is “Wittenberg.”  Join us for pre-show drinks at Voodoo Brewery in Homestead (6pm) followed by New Renaissance Theatre Company's comedy - Wittenberg!

Hamlet returns to Wittenberg University after studying abroad in Poland over the summer where he encountered the new theories of Nicholas Copernick, sending his world, literally, spinning. Seeking advise and solace from his professors Dr. John Faustus and Rev. Dr. Martin Luther, he is drawn into their own issues. Faustus is in love, and Luther is struggling with the church. The stories of these three giants of English renaissance culture influence each other in David Davalos’ witty campus comedy. Wittenbergoffers something for everyone, the fans of Hamlet and Faust and for those who may not be familiar with their stories.
