A FIRST FRIDAY EVENT will take place on Friday, June 3, 2022 from 7pm - 9pm at the Historical Society of Mount Lebanon. Dave Frankowski will be on hand to explain the display and the tradition of Trooping the Colour.

About Trooping the Colour

Trooping the Colour is a tradition of dating to the 17th century. Since 1748 it has also commemorated the “official” birthday of the British sovereign. The 2022 event is especially significant as it comes in the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II marking her 70th year on the throne. There will be celebrations throughout the world – plan to visit the History Society center to learn more about this tradition!

This event is free but please consider making a donation. We suggest $10 per person.  Registered and forgot to donate? No worries click here. Thanks!
