  • Pronounce names like "Cadogan", "Featherstonehaugh" & "Cholmondeley"

 

  • Name all 6 of Henry VIII's wives in order

 

 

  • Define a googly

 

  • Name the longest-reigning British monarch

 

  • Translate "drop a clanger"

 

  • Quote Shakespeare verbatim

 

  • Understand what it means to "over-egg the pudding"

 

  • Locate Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch on a map   (Bonus points if you can pronounce and translate it.)

 

  • Expound upon Queen Victoria's views on the Corn Laws . . . (Seriously.  Hint: HM was not amused.)

 

Then this might be the event for you!  (Even if you can't, come anyway, you'll have lots of fun and you may learn a thing or two about our friends across the pond!)

 

Join fellow Britsburghers for our first Pub Quiz at East End Brewery!  We'll enjoy a lively evening while we share a pint or two and enjoy a bit of pub fare with friends old and new.

  • Show up, grab a pint, grab a bite, grab a table, and win some stuff!

   

Note that each team is limited to no more than six.  Off-street parking is available nearby.
